Love the beer bottle @ about 4:08 in the video (and again, hidden behind the cup full of pens when they switch camera angles). That's exactly what I'd like to see from the business I'm probably paying a substantial amount of money to verify my 59 Burst, a buzzed dude a few brews in geeking out with my $400k+ guitar. :ROFLMAO:

It was cool though, to see what's unique about those guitars.

I didn’t even notice but yeah you can see it front and center on the opening shot. Bukovac is sort of known for always having a beer (or coffee) in his hands if he’s not holding a guitar. I don’t know how much Greg works on guitars anymore.

I was also really interested in the part about the bevel at the fret ends since I’m having my LP refretted sans nibs.

I have had a few r9’s, 8’s and 7’s…when I finally played a real legit 59 I was shocked. Felt totally different.

What he mentions about the bevel and the refret, is it that noticeable of a difference? Cool video, liked seeing the parts comparisons.

Absolutely. Less so if the fret extends out where the nib was which is how I think I’d prefer it. I don’t think I’d like it the way it is in the video.

I had SS jumbo's installed on my #1 LP and my guy pointed out that he purposefully did not bevel the frets ends too much, and also that he extended the frets closer to the edge of the board to free up a bit more space on the neck. It is noticeable. In the video you can see how much useable fretboard was lost with the bevel on the fret edges.

Beer and Les Paul guitars. I've seen everything now.....

I think Tom is wrong about ES-295s having the cream pickup rings. I believe that they all had dog ear P-90s. They were cream but not humbuckers and no rings.

I don’t like the strings falling off the edge of the board
