iPad Bluetooth guitar solution?

Are there bluetooth adaptors you can use with guitar to go Bluetooth to an iPad and use emulation software for some quiet, late night, livin’ room rockin’? Or is it still having to use a wired interface? What emulations are you using that you like?.

Long ago I used an app called Amplitube that did exactly what you're talking about.

i guess i was thinking plug a wireless into that thing? youre still gonna have to plug your guitar into something to connect to bluetooth?

Was hoping there was a Bluetooth adaptor that could plug into the guitar like some of the wireless units and go straight to the iPad. Getting a wireless and the iRig etc is too much bother.

ah yeah i never seen that, in fact ive been joking for years about how im ready for that very product so i can just walk into gigs with only my guitar and go bluetooth to my phone which will go to FOH lol

I’m actually surprised someone hasn’t done a guitar with built in Bluetooth yet for this very purpose. Maybe they can’t eliminate the lag, if even slight, yet.

No one has made such a product because Bluetooth’s inherent latency is far too large for live guitar playing or monitoring.

Cheap wireless pack > irig or irig interface > ipad maybe?

Looks like there are a bunch of ipad interfaces on sweetwater

Edit: Looks like someone already mentioned it...need to read more first. I still think this is the best bet.
