janick on the this dvd seems to be doing more stage acrobatics than anything else..but murray and smith certainly make up for it..
you'll love it..

Kind of off topic but what is the story with this jannik gers? I have all the albums up through powerslave and only remember Murray and Smith. 3 guitars now?

Jannick is a blowhole, and the idea of him still in the band really turns me off and turns my stomach. He even does solo's from the older CD's that Murray or Smith used to play, kinda lame if you ask me. Plus the whole overshowman thing just kinda ruins it for me.

Janick gers has been with maiden since around 89/90..adrian smith left just before he joined..bruce dickinson left around 96..
both smith and dickinson re-joined in 2000..been 3 guitar lineup ever since..

I believe VH1 is showing "Fligth 666" at 9pm EST next Saturday. They ran an ad for it over the weekend.

That Live at abbey road shows Jannick playing Adrian Smiths lead on Hollowed be thy name. He plays it good, but why? It's not better than Smiths.

Killer!

I think the Blu-Ray version is released in a month or so. Until then I have acquired a DVD-9 version of each disc and will be giving atleast one of them a spin tonight
