I got to see him a couple times in the late 90's before he was relegated to a chair and doing 15 minute versions of you are my sunshine. They were quality performances and yeah, his band was always kicking.

When you did your roadtrip, did they provide backline? I'm assuming 'yes' but one never knows. If so, what'd they give you?

They did. We were provided with a couple Fender "Twin-Amp". They have a gain knob, but sound similar to a Twin Reverb except with less treble. Pretty decent amp. I took my own Twin to AR/MS.
