Peavey has me wanting one of these!

Besides the high gain channel being based on a 6505, they said in a video online that the clean channel was perfect/designed for pedals as well if want to play around with crafting some dirt tones that way as well making the amp beyond multi-dimensional... I'm currently living in a pedal platform world but would also love the 6505 channel to death I'm sure.

I'm dying to collect some first hand thoughts of the amp and the 2x12 cab that was built for it.

You sir, are not the only one wanting one of these soon to be BAD ASS amps.

The feature set is just short of amazing, and contrary to some, i think the price is way reasonable for the whole package made in USA with a cool as hell MIDI controller. Have you looked at amp prices lately? Crazy.

Peavey amps are quite underated around here sometimes.

Pretty excited about the new "Misha Man Sewer" amp also. Really hoping the lead channels sound as good or better than my 6505+ . It's retarded how good that amp can sound dialed in with a boost in front. If peavey pulls of the tone in this format with all the added features it's gonna be sick.

Agreed. The 6505+ is killer. I love using that amp live. It's loud and sounds massive. I'm always in one guitar bands and it's fantastic.
If they improve on it with features. It's a win.

I'm really interested in the Invective.

It's gonna kill seriously.

The bedroom clip he did with the Zilla is nothing short of amazing. 5150 tweaked to Modern Metal Player's liking who knows tone. Sounds good to me and like mentioned, all the features it has.

Want. My other guitarist has a 6505+ and it sounds great. Can only imagine how this would sound.

What he said...

As for complaints about the price...The price is DOPE for all the features and I am sure the amp will be built bullet proof like the 5150/6505 series...

Most people around here cork sniff your thread if it involves a guitar or amp under 4K... lol

I don't need one,but damned if I don't want one.

Gonna get mine modded for more gain. Hmmm....Cameron? FJA? Oh,I'll get Billy Blades to do a Jose mod to it! Then get it covered in snakeskin. And flashing l.e.d. lights!

Some features look good, others useless to me. The gate and speaker emulated out I wouldn't use. All others I could.

I'm not sold on the looks of the head. :aww:
I do wanna hear the cab. More interest at the moment in the cab.

Is it really made in USA? on the back of it, it says Designed and Engineered in the USA. The 6505s say the samething and then under them it says made in China.

If that's what it says, then probably China. For those who care. Personally I don't care where it's made, as long as it sounds great.

Still riding the merry go round I see Giles.... ☺

I am very close to wanting to buy this amp and a torpedo but I am trying my best not to.

The 6505 was built in the USA only until recently production moved to China. I know Mosh purchased one made in China and sent it back because it didn't sound as good as his made in USA 6505. Maybe he can chime in. I have not tried one built in China but personally wouldn't bother when you can get a used one built in the USA cheap. I bought a back up 6505+ for rehearsals for $450 made in the USA and it sounds killer

The name of the amp still sounds like a new type of oven to me.

Actually I got one on the very first batch of off shore 6505's.... it was not a plus but a regular 6505.

Cosmetically, it didn't look and feel exactly the same as the usa versions and came accross some what cheaper made like the 6505+ 1x12 offshore combo version.

I noticed right away that the attached power cord was much thinner gauge wire ... I didn't think it sounded bad or anything like that, but I sent it back because it was not the same build... and it seemed like they cut corners here an there where they could.

Any word on when they will be available?

No solid date on them being available yet.
