How easy it is to make music nowadays?? Now all you need is a laptop, the computer plays the drums for you, just press rec and play...
Recorded with Logic, UADOX, drums by Logic, everything else..me...

Enjoy or not

so just out of curiosity, how much did you drop on software to be able to do that? Also how easy is it really? I have an old Roland VS recorder and something to build drum tracks with and it is an arduous process to try and get the drums to do what I want and the Roland is so confusing.
I would like to be able to do some recording just for fun but its really to big of a PITA with what I have

I hear ya mate.

I think the crux of the problem is option paralysis and devices and software's bringing too much shit to the table.

Many folks just want to record, and yet all packages are delivered so feature-rich that they can cater for pretty much every wannabe producer out there.

I use EZ Drummer and an old Line 6 UX1 and some cheap software and did this. I think EZ drummer is pretty simple to use hence it's name. Of course, I still struggle with it and to do complex things with drums remains a remote possibility for me but I recorded this tune back in December. I think my set up is as low dough as it gets.

Yeah Im curious to what all you used as well. I have SD3 and just got EZmix. Still havent wrapped my head on how to use all of it. I get distracted too easily to sit down and learn as well. I would need some sort of structured class to really get it down. I had Nail the Mix subscription that basically just gave them money.

I used Logix Pro X just for "DAW" and drums, Logic has very nice drummer, what can follow what you play etc, small vocal parts is also from Logic loops..
I played guitars and bass..

This x10! It is the same with the modelling stuff. So many options, so many IRs....etc....etc.. It comes to the point where I just want to turn on my amp and play.

Cool stuff and nice job.

Paralysis is right MM. I also have EZ drums and a UX1 but get pretty lost pretty quick :aww:

EZdrummer2 and the Axe FX have made it easy for me to make horrible music, but I have fun doing it, so if I keep practicing maybe I'll get good at it someday.
