I love my shred, but the stock 300k volume pots and assembly had to go. I upgraded to 500k hand wired setup and now have thornbuckers in it

Cool!!! I just purchased stuff to change from black to cream!!

Nice guitar and sounded great. Good luck with he hand issues. I also have to spend a good bit of time warming up, a lot more than I used to. For me, it's more my thumb than anything else's that really starts hurting.

We need a new funny face video guitar lesson. I miss those video's Mark!

Mark, I feel your pain in regards to your hand issue. I've dealt with ulnar nerve issues in my right arm for the past 20 years. The first time it forced me to discontinue my classical guitar playing/repetoire. I was obsessed with it and practiced 6 hours a night. I had big plans and was as passionate about it as I've ever been about playing. I went back to playing rock and country because playing electric solid-bodies was easier on my arm (standing with a relaxed arm position on a comfort bevel is a big part of why). I went from not being able to feel my right arm below the elbow to being mostly comfortable most of the time. Years later I started playing/gigging my own nuevo flamenco material and after about a year the issue sprang up again and once again, I had to quit doing what I passionately wanted to do. That was about 5 years ago. I've been playing my flamenco stuff again for the past year and a half, but I have to take it easy and I'm always waiting for the hammer to fall once again. I'll just ride the wave until it does I guess. I'm fortunate that so far, I'm able to play electric even when I can't manage playing acoustic.

You're a great, tasteful player and I wish you all the best with your issue.

P.S. I've always wanted an LP Access, because Rush is my all-time favorite band, and Lifeson one of my all time fave players (though Yngwie will always be #1 for me). I never bought an Access, but I did have an Epi LP with a Floyd for a while recently. I'm just not a Floyd guy anymore. Haven't been since the early 90s. In fact, I rarely even use the standard trems on my Anderson Classics.

Good luck in your journey. It's very kind of you to share your story, much appreciated.
