I can totally relate to what you're saying bro! I just bought a CE 24 gold top 20th anniv and it KILLS! Sounds LPish but plays better for this TX boy that grew up on strats. Now I have to decide if I want to try to find a better sounding LP or just trade/sell it for another PRS! lol

Thats's a beauty! Nicely figured wood without being over the top...

I just picked up a DGT a few months ago and am still loving it. Great pickups, jumbo frets, very resonate...a killer versatile guitar.

They are supposed to be half way between acrylic and nitro...

The original Modern Eagles were a matte nitro. The new ones are polished somethingorother.

Awesome guitar man!! I have had quite a few of them and absolutely LOVE them!! THey are just effortless to play and exude quality!!! Once you spend any real time playing a rosewood neck I just dont see how you can go back to a finished neck....

Yeah, the ME1's were brazilian necks and satin finish...I took some mirror glaze to mine when I owned it...

All the rest are Indian Rosewood with assorted fretboards...I wanna say some are cocobolo...I literally shipped off my ME2 a few days ago to a guy who said he is a LesPaul guy and doenst like PRS's....well he has changed his mind and is now also looking at Singlecuts...LOL

My ME2 that shipped out to Pauly a few days ago...

But I do still have my Private Stock, which is very similar to the ME....its also an unfinished rosewood neck on it and to me probably about the very best PRS can offer...

My Eagle is my fav guitar, its a really early one with a brazillian neck, its the most resonant guitar I've ever heard. Its twice as loud acoustically as anything I own. I ended up changing the bridge pup out, but its been one sweet guitar

Nice guitar Steve. I have 2 PRSi which could only be be pried out of my cold dead fingers. One is a rosewood neck CU24 and the other one is an SC. I also have a 3rd but, it's another rosewood neck CU24 so I don't need two of the same guitar so it's for sale.
