BTW...
Regarding the title of this thread -- I remember in right around the start of the 90's reading some guitar rag where they called this amazing new upstart band "a blend of Rush and Queensrych", which happened to be my favorite two bands at the time. So I ran right out and bought a copy of Dream Theater's "When Dream and Day Unite". Was pretty impressed with that cassette, and when "Images and Words" came out a few years later I was just bown away by it and they became my favorite band for a while. Too bad they eventually stopped caring about writing great songs and just did album after album of circle jerk music. Like QR I have only skimmed their past few CDs and just don't find any reason to buy them.
