50f today, i even took a short scoot (22 miles) on the Harley. But it won't last.

It's the middle of summer. I have the air-conditioning on. Our snowman is a bucket of water with a carrot floating in it.

We've only had maybe 3 or 4 days of summer here so far. I'm down-south but in ThumbPicker's neighbourhood and in New South Wales the season's in full-swing.
Yes it's been boiling the last few days here and my solar system died 4 days ago so no free airconditioning :-( and the bloody installer will be on holidays until late Jan so no fix grrrrr...

Looking ahead: Sunday will be 58f...high monday: 19f
Lawdy!

Kansas City. We had BITTER cold temps a couple of weeks back - but eerily warm now. As in crowding 70* tomorrow. May hit a record high for Dec 25.

Streets are clean and dry, so I feel obligated to back out the Trans Am for a quick cruise tomorrow!

What is this winter you speak of? Down south its gonna be almost 80 degrees the next few days.
If you're referring to my comment and not joking, of course it's colder down-south 'cause I'm in the Southern Hemisphere.

ThumbPicker, the lucky bugger, is up-north in a State that's known for being "beautiful one day, perfect the next".

The last few (four or five?) years here have been nothing but rain in Sydney though and I think Melbourne has been in drought if I'm not mistaken. Christmas Day though is perfect! 22C a cool breeze - blue sky. Amazing for this time of year.

Yeah I think Sydney was dry but Melbourne had record rain right through Spring 'til maybe a week ago.

I don't remember any Spring here being that consistently-wet. Farmer's rain all-night for months on-end.
