Hey Guys,

Two months ago, I got this insane guitar that's been my main since.
I got lucky to grab this from Guitar Point in Germany for a good price.
I didn't think I would ever get a guitar with a shape like this, until I played Teemu Mäntysaari's Explorers and got hooked on Brandon Ellis's videos again haha.

The guitar came with a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and sounded very fat, so I thought it would be a good candidate for the Brandon Ellis signature Duncan Parallel Axis Dyad. It's a very hot and aggressive pickup, which works perfectly for what I wanted from this guitar.
It's an extremely resonant guitar and I even had to silence the pickup mounting springs with some foam to get rid of any ringing, which was a first for me haha.

I've used it live a few times as well and really like how it plays standing up because the guitar body isn't in the way of my forearm, like on a LP.

All the specs and more pro pics are still on the Guitar Point website:

You can hear why I love this guitar here:

Nice axe! I was just thinking yesterday what a Kelly with a Charvel style Strat-y headstock would look like. I haven't had a Kelly in years, but not sure I'm a pointy headstock guy anymore.

It sounds killer.

I think it would look very weird to me haha. Love the Explorer with the hockey headstock though, especially Teemu's reverse headstock ones!
That's the one thing that this Kelly is missing for me, reverse headstock...

I fast forwarded to the blues tones thinking it would make a mockery of this thread. The blue axe is not only beautiful paired with all that gold, but your blues tones were like an expensive pair of tan pants paired with some sweet suede Carlos™️ loafers. Very nicely done Eddy, congrats bro!!!
