Fender already lost in the US nearly 20 years ago. JAMES TYLER has nothing to worry about.

I really want a Tyler. Probably closest thing I have to a ‘dream guitar.’

But man, 6k to get in the door is officially way beyond my spending threshold.

Shit I don’t even think you can get one for 6K. I think they’re 7k+.
I own two Tyler’s that are about 11 years old now, and before that I had two or three more.
I mean, they’re awesome guitars, but nothing is worth 7K, I’m sorry

7K :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

NO bolt on neck guitar need be over 3k.

Paying 4k for the name is a bit much, but I guess a fool and his money are easily parted.
I remember paying $600.00 for a brand new Kramer Pacer Imperial with a case in 1983/84. Adjusted for inflation in 2026 that would equate to $2,000.00 dollars in today's money. That shows how much the dollar's been devalued since the early 80's.

I also bought a used pearl white 1983 Gibson LPC for I think around $500 or $600 with the Gibson chainsaw case in 1984/85.

I remember paying $1200 for a EBMM Axis in 2001 thinking that was alot of money then. These are roughly $3500.00 in 2026 so almost triple the cost in 2001.

I wonder if they charge more to relic it for you? :D

Agreed, one of my top dream axes but if I bought a TYLER I couldn't afford to play guitar anymore.

Bolt on or not, the one I played was a phenomenal guitar. I couldn’t believe how much I liked it.

No comment on the price other than “dang” but they are incredible instruments.

I have been wanting one for a while but I just can't justify the cash, considered buying the JTG Chinese line to see what that was all about but I'm sure they are way too far removed from the actual. Someday maybe.

Tyler's are expensive AF but there is just something special about them. Very nice guitars.

These things have already been challenged in the US and other countries and failed. Theres already legal precedence in those countries. A decision in one country has no legal precedence in another country unless you are EU

guess we'll see.

Fender doesn't have to win; it can use its resources to put financial or legal pressure, or even bankrupt other, smaller guitar makers

Fender killed Sunn amps; Gibson killed Steinberger,...I'm sure they'll acquire and kill again
I wouldn't care if the authorities seized every guitar on planet earth tomorrow and distributed them all cut up for firewood. None of it means anything.

it’s been pretty amazing to watch the popularity of Tyler guitars evolve from the time i became aware of them in the early 90s until now.

i couldn’t be happier with my custom classic burning tobacco🔥🍂🚬
