Here's a little more love for the Suhr ... a video from my gig this past weekend gig. Ralph said he did liked the sound of the Aldrich pickups split (we had been debating splitting high output pickups) ... you can here a bit of that on the first part of the video. The guitar is really versatile and plays great.

Very cool song Carl! Loved it! Love the way you have your mids dialed in for this type of song, fits the attitude.

I like ordering superstrats with 5 way switching as well and also spoke to Ralph about that, my last GMW I had this installed,

WiringHum1.jpg

Position 1 Coils A and B are accessed (noise canceling)
Position 2 Coil A only
Position 3 Coils A and D only (noise canceling)
Position 4 Coil C only
Position 5 Coils C and D are accessed (noise canceling)

Using a Custom in the bridge and Jazz for the neck, they work pretty well for high gain pups.

SUHR!!

Sounds great Carl, but I gotta ask,
did anyone win the Fortin transcription contest??!?

That pic is the website's example, mine is a black superstrat and will bring it Sunday so you can find out yourself :) I think it works pretty well.

I wonder if I buy a Suhr If I will be able to play like that. ;)

Carl, WTF!!!! Why didn't you get that guitar with a recessed Floyd for those Andy LaRocque abusive whammy parts

I forgot to ask you how's at King Diamond Tribute Band coming along ? :hys:

All I need is the bracelet and I'm good to go ...

I can actually get rather abusive with the whammy bar, and she's stay in tune ... I did get a graphite nut ... amazingly, even when the guitar is out of tune, it STILL sounds good through a FORTIN! :D

YES. It's available as a custom option. Amazing what those guys at Suhr are pulling off these days ... I'd highly recommend the "Guthrie Mod".
