Sort of..God is going to make me live forever? Geez.
We were all created to live forever.
Unfortunately, most people don't want to get with the program. ?
Sort of..God is going to make me live forever? Geez.
Hopefully you got a few decades left before you burn in hell for all eternity ? ?
100% wrong.We'll see.
As for burning in hell for eternity, even if you're Christian you can't believe that shit. Two things the bible says about hell. For starters, the first translation of the bible out of Hebrew was Greek. The Greek word is Shiel. Which means hole or tomb. Now the bible also says that eternity separated from God is hell. Judgement Day all believers will rise from their graves and join god in heaven right ? So what about the unbelievers? Pretty much just stay in their hole right.
Nowhere does the bible refer to burning in hell for unbelievers. This whole concept was invented by people trying to control other people. Which coincidentally so was the King James version of the bible, the Catholic Church and pretty much every religion man ever invented.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Where's your proof ?100% wrong.
Back to chasing spiders, I guess.
There's more of a case to be made from the NT, but not every bible believing Christian believes in eternal torment.Nowhere does the bible refer to burning in hell for unbelievers. Whatever they believe, they are convinced they're right. There's more of a case to be made from the NT, but not every bible believing Christian believes in eternal torment.
Correct weight mate. Now the bible also says that eternity separated from God is hell.
I'm running on the assumption that we simply cease to be sentient. One of the reasons I doubt Christianity or should I say why the concept fills me with ennui, is because if it is true that non believers suffer for eternity, that doesn't seem like a god I want to be friends with. I mean how many people died without ever being exposed to it ? How many people lived their lives in a jungle somewhere believing the earth was their creator? What about my grand daughter who died at 36 hours old ? What about every single native American who refused to conform to the white man's ways ? All of these people are doomed to suffer for eternity ? I don't buy it, but if I did I still don't think I'd be interested.Correct weight mate.
A sad thing is that none us probably can imagine what true separation would feel like.
You know - you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
You underestimate the creator of the universe.I'm running on the assumption that we simply cease to be sentient.
