I had one of those too....gorgeous amps....sold mine to a relative...
I wish the clean and crunch of channel 1 were actually their own channels....that is one downfall that irked me.

Great amps especially considering the cost. I have had a couple hundred watters in the past and now have a 2005 50 It is great and rivals, and or straight up kicks the asses of many amps several times the price. One of Marshalls best production amps ever all things considered. Even at current prices of about 800 to 1000 they are tough to beat for even twice the dough. A forever keeper..

You took off the white piping? Mine has gold piping. 1st owner changed white for gold. The gold has even better tone!

I keep looking to buy one but the local models that I keep seeing are in the no go zone. Might be one 2004 version that I guess I should take a second look at.

They are killer without any boost.
Don't be a wanker saying the amp "can be killer with the right boost" when it doesn't need one.
