It doesn't look like the schematic for the pre-amp is drawn correctly, however knowing this circuit and also building a turret board slo with stock, modified and modified relay switching, I would never go back to the original way Soldano does the switching with opto's as there is way to much channel bleed and crosstalk between the channels and it doesn't make the amp sound good or better.

Ha, the plate connections on V1 are swapped on that schematic.
I have the 50 watt with relays, but it’s implemented the same way. Problem is that the crunch channel isn’t muted when you’re on the OD channel, I just added a relay powered by the other relays 12v, that grounds pin 2 of v1 when on the OD channel. Works great, it let me punch up the crunch channel a bit without ruining the OD channel. I believe there is an unused relay half but at the time I didn’t want to bother with lifting the board.
If you wanted it switchable for whatever reason I guess you could just add a switch to the relay power.
