Jet City/Soldano Presence Control/depth mod

Anyone happen to know what value Jet City (and/or Soldano) is using for the presence and depth pots? I'm looking into the depth mod and I'm wondering if a dual concentric pot would work. One pot value would be the stock presence, and then the other would be for the depth mod, then you could have both knobs where the presence is now and not have to drill a new hole. What do you guys think?
 
The normal Depth mod is a 1M pot and a 4nF cap.

I don't know what Jet City is using though.
 
Soldano uses a 1M log pot for the depth mod and 25kL for presence.

one user adjustment for both?

or two separate user adjustments?
 
concentric is two seperate. you can get a way with a lower depth mod pot but prob not a higher pres pot so try the dual 25k with a 0022 or 0047
 
What I was really hoping to do is get a concentric dual pot with 2 different values, i.e. one (25k) for the outer shaft (presence) and one (1M) for the inner shaft (depth). But, as I am finding out, you can't exactly get the pot I am looking for, it's usually one value for both pots. I'm wondering about buying a concentric dual pot, and seeing if I can swap the guts out of it for the values I need :dunno:
 
Hi there. Just dropping in to confirm that YES the Depth control on our upcoming JCA100HDM is exactly the same as the SOLDANO Depth. I literally tried the final version of this amp with the Depth feature about an hour ago and it's ready to go!

I remember you guys saying something about some "jet packs" on HCAF. Is this still something that may happen, and would it include circuit mods, possibly depth for the JCA20H?

P.S. What city is your manufacturing facility located in China?

Just use the same circuitry on the 20H as in the SLO. 500k-1M log pot, 2n2-4n7 and a 100nF between the NFB-R and the pot to avoid scratching sounds (from DC on the pot).
 
can we have the shematic to do the mod ourself?

Tried the jetcity with GT Groove tube, not the best result for my part changed the v1 and v3)
