yea thats my concern, I need like at least an SLO amount or a Bogner red channel, somewhere in that category. I wonder if Jim could do any "tricks" to boost the gain, added gain stage ? something like that.

There was some talk about them several years ago, at least here they never took off from what I remember.

I think Danhops had one, can't remember.

I played Dan's Purplexi at Paige's house a few years back. It was simply ok. The Straub Cantus + OD808 kicked its ass all over that basement... imho...
