JJ Jr. or PRS MT15?

Seems to me that they are 2 very different tones; MT is like a modded Recto and JJ is a modded Marshall.

I just got the JJ Jr and think it’s awesome! It made me sell my Engl Ironball (also a great amp). I have a PRS Mt15 otw, so I’ll reply again once I get to compare them.

So, I got the PRS MT-15. I wasn’t too big on the tone, and definitely preferred my Ironball and JJ Jr. I actually decided to keep the Ironball as I really dig the tone!

I’ll be returning the MT-15 at this point. Ordered open box via musiciansfriend for $575. Figured I’d take a chance on it.

Yeah, the price is phenomenal. I actually snagged the Ironball for $575 local.

That might actually be worth creating a thread for in Classifieds if Maddnotez doesn't take you up on it. I can't take any new amps so it wouldn't be me - just sayin'.

Hoping mine gets here by next week..been on back order everywhere,but I ordered in middle of June so this next batch they get should get mine..supposedly they are to receive some on Friday.

I've had the PRS for over a year now, and it basically became my main amp as soon as I plugged into. Granted, I am not a Marshall tone kinda fan...don't really like the Friedman stuff much. Love my 5150s, Mesa Marks, Uberschalls, and to me, the PRS kinda combines elements of the Mark series and 5150. It sounds killer, and is plenty loud to play with my band. I have played every show we've played for the last year with that amp. I absolutely love it.

Don't need 2 amps is coocoo pants talk, though haha...especially 2 that sound so different. I am planning on buying an Engl in the next week or 2 because its a totally different tone than either of my 5150s or the MT15.

Yeah that is another thing man.

I absolutely LOVED the Uber and the JP2c. The only Marshalls that I have heard and loved were JCM 800s with a boost and some random modded out Marshalls.
