I don’t get this at all and you are far from the only person with this take. If you are going to try and make a living playing guitar in 2024 you NEED to get and keep your name out there however you can. The days of signing a big record deal or being set for life with a cheesy ballad that became popular are over. If you can’t bear to constantly sell yourself you will always need the day job. He’s doing what he can to make a living doing what he loves.
