A shame they released that and seemingly did nothing with it (shows) or anything since.

Some good stuff.

Living in hope for some more Joe!
Fantastic album (Farmikos)!

That shit plain rocked!!
Good blend. Love the singers voice.

So much talent, ability, mojo... just lying idle. Ive heard rumors of them working on stuff... The World could use some more Farmikos... and The Winery Dogs... and Blackberry Smoke... I could go on and on on bands that are devastatingly underrated.

The "Maestro" kills it indeed! I have never heard another singer channel Chris Cornell like Robbie does! Not even close. Robbie definitely has his own voice though!
My favorite track on the album is still Am I One... "and as you beg forgiveness I will crack a smile..." Good stuff! ;)

I am also amazed that this didn't generate more buzz for them as the whole cd is AWESOME! I love the dark 90's Soundgarden/Alice in Chains/Ozzy Sabbath vibe with some kiiler Randy Rhoads inspired lead work by Joe who just rips on every track!

Joe doesn't copy Randy but you can certainly hear the major influence in this playing as well. How cool that he took lessons from Randy back in the day. Anyway, its just a shame that this came out and was really under appreciated and didn't generate way more buzz than it did.

I have 2 copy's of this cd myself and if it had came out on vinyl I would of picked one of those up as well

Man, they just got gnarly tone on everything! The guitar sounds amazing. Thick and heavy but wild and hairy at the same time. It’s my favorite kind of heavy tone. The amp is struggling to hold it together. The rhythm section is a charging rhino. I’m going to have to get this. The songs are great too. Some real derivative nods to AIC but still very good. Honestly better than AIC has been in a while...lol.

The tone sounds a lot like a mid scooped(slightly) Cameron Aldrich to me. Similar growl. Reminds me of the tone Norum had on Another Destination. Killer.

I believe Norum used a stock 2205 on that, (or possibly the 2210).

Oops I meant Another Destination.
Another Destination was a Cam Aldrich. He does use 2205s live, and probably has recorded with them but that album was a Cameron. I do love a late 80s 2205/10 though. Very underrated. He uses KT88s in them as well.

Following is all just my opinion of course...I’ve been listening to the album the last couple of days and even though I still think the tones and production are stellar I can see why it may not have gained traction. The songs. It sounds like there was no visionary in the group to steer the ship. Many good parts that don’t resolve effectively and often meandering from one slight riff change to another. Joe plays with real fire but needs help with constructing songs. Though the singer has range he doesn’t craft any melodies that are all that memorable. I dig the tone of his voice when he’s lower, like on the acoustic track but I did get fatigued of the nasal quality of his upper range. So it’s actually a strikeout for me once I got a chance to listen at length. Bummed, was excited there for a minute...lol

From an interview he used original Jose Marshall heads, and old cabs with pre rola greenbacks.

Yup..I read that long ago here, that he has a few original Jose modded Marshalls. It just reminded me of the tone I could get from an early white headshell Cam Aldrich, a late 70s JMP. It was one of Mark's earliest Aldrich modded Marshalls done in 93 or so.

Right?!

They don't even have the album on Spotify (just two songs - wtf!?)

Even though it seems like good material should sell itself, the fact of the matter is a buzz gets generated by good marketing. It seems they have no marketing...
