Hey all,,well Im new here and just wanted to post a bit on the jubilee for some readers,,
So recently I purchased a 2553 50watt jubilee head but strangly It was the model with the power switch like the jmp heads,,After doing some research it turns out this model was more sought after than the others as it was a canadian version and had a beefed up transformer(correct me if Im wrong)
Strangly enough Im a drummer but have taken up guitar after scoring an Adrian Smith signature for a good price,,
My older brother had one of these jubilees which is where I learnt it had a great tone,,
So Im wanting to buy the 2x12 bins for it but trying to find even one was near impossible,,so get them built or wait,,2 weeks and a 4x10 1965B cabinet was up for grabs,,500 thank you Ill have that,,Only thing it was black,,so do i recover it in the gray tolex thats hard to find,,no I opted for a colormatch and rolled on the jubilee color with a roller and seriously youd never notice,,couple weeks go by and boom theres a 2x12 1966A cab up for grabs,,nother 500 and thank you now the proud owner of a full stack,,And I gotta say with the 4x10 and 2x12 combination it sounds amazing,,pics to follow,,For those of you wanting to go with this color match heres the code and its an exact match
