Richie's been playing Wizards for awhile, (atleast prior to this album). Before that I believe he used Powerball II's. Glenn was using Engls too before he hung it up.
But, with Sneap doing their last few recordings, it's hard to say..
I know Andy has been a kemper guy forever, I can't tell from the clip but it has the soft, pillowy thing that the kemper tends to add to profiles - sounds great either way though
Yep, this overcompressed chewiness, that lacks the immediate rawness.
Could be (a Sneap) recording technique and could very well be a TS9 into a 5150, but either way, while it sounds pretty good, there are better recorded tones out there. The lead sounds really good tho'.
