Fuck it I love that pedal. I had originally bought one for $300 and needed some cash so I listed it for $500 and it actually sold pretty quickly. I'm basically back where I started from minus $25.00 . Gonna hang on to it this time.

I guess cause people are buying them for that much. I think I hear that the meshugga dude wanted them to be a limited run.

Crazy... I have one... It’s good for what it does and if you dig that sculpted tone.

No way I’d sell mine because it goes perfect with my Meshuggah amp.

You do know that fortin has the 33 pedal back for sale on his website for 233 dollars right?

Granted it’s password protected at the moment, but I have a feeling it won’t stay that way for much longer.

You shoulda waited lol.

I'm pretty sure that's just for the guys getting the last batch of Meshuggah heads. Frederik apparently wanted the pedals to just be a small run.

hell man, id have sold you one for 425. I didn't realize they are selling for so much.

I've built two for about $40 each, I've been thinking about slapping a big "77" on it. It's just a TC Electronics Integrated Pre. Can't justify $500+ let alone just $233 on an easily built clone. But that's just my opinion, and you all know what they say about that.

So have you actually taken a real one apart? I wonder if you could figure out how to tune the low cut on it.

Or, call me crazy here...you could buy a TC Integrated Pre or Booster+ Line Driver and then tune the low cut wherever you wanted by turning the bass knob... :D

Yeah the tuning is really complex to match the 33... bass off and treble full

I've got my TC clone I built and an actual 33 here side by side and the 33 has a touch more volume when turned all the way up but that's it. May be because my clone is based on a pc board I grabbed online and not exact to the TC schematic IIRC.

I think the rullywow pcb uses a charge pump to double the voltage, so minus the voltage drop from the diodes you only really get like 17v or so, unless you used an LT1054 charge pump so you can feed it more than 9 volts without blowing the charge pump.

From the pics I’ve seen of the 33, it looked like the charge pump was set up to quadruple the voltage, so 30 to 33 volts. That’s just a guess though, based on the amount of diodes and caps around the charge pump on the pcb. Voltage does have a big effect on the headroom, but a minor one over 18 or so volts.

I built a clone from the schematic available online, and it sounds the same as my real one, except it has an on/off switch and a light, which is so much more convenient. I considered making one with the bass and treble fixed, but I do like moving the controls around depending on the amp I’m using.

Also, Fredrick posted a short video on his Instagram a while ago, of all his integrated preamps, BLD’s, 33 prototypes and then the final 33 at the end. The settings on the integrated preamps were bass at 0, volume at 10, and treble looked to be around noon to 1:00 (hard to tell from the angle, def not on 10).

But who knows, maybe he changes settings often on the integrated preamps.

i just sold a dead mint 2015 evh 5150 3 50 watt for 550 so there's that
i guess this is the new klon minus 3 knobs?
i don't get it

You talking about me? Did you even read my original post? If you can do math which I hope you can I ended up paying $325 for a pedal I really liked.

Here you go my friend, this has the 33 pedal all over it.Its a cover of Suicide Silence Sacred Words. Its the only pedal I've owned that gets me a 90% mix ready tone on a 7 string tuned to dropA. Now show me something your no talent ass has done.

Not buthurt, just don't really understand someone that I dont know or who doesn't know me talking shit. I dont do that to people. I guess that's your thing. I'm happy with my pedal. It serves a purpose for me. Sorry you dont like it. Oh and do you know who the "Hahaha" in the tread title was for? It was me laughing at myself cause I know its a ridiculous price. Again, read the original post and you will understand my reasoning.

And just to remind you. Go back and look at the thread where you where talking about that hurricane and you thinking you lost all your shit. I was the first person on there offering to give you an amp to get back on your feet. You ignored me but at least that lets you know who your talking shit to. That who I am.

I’ve never tried the 33....have you tried it with the CL50?

Curious what it would do with that amp.

Rock on
