Or, call me crazy here...you could buy a TC Integrated Pre or Booster+ Line Driver and then tune the low cut wherever you wanted by turning the bass knob...
Yeah the tuning is really complex to match the 33... bass off and treble full
I've got my TC clone I built and an actual 33 here side by side and the 33 has a touch more volume when turned all the way up but that's it. May be because my clone is based on a pc board I grabbed online and not exact to the TC schematic IIRC.
But who knows, maybe he changes settings often on the integrated preamps.
Don't get me wrong, the 33 is an awesome pedal.. I think it's just better to have a pedal with the available EQ Bass/Treble to adjust for taste. One clone has one knob, the other has 3 knobs (like the integrated pre), and it's nice to have the option. I think I might build another 3 knob 33/Integrated-Pre in a smaller enclosure, the 125B I have one in is tooo big.
