Not yet but it is insane on my recto 50. Only thing I've tried on the Vht is a bad monkey so far but I know the 33 will light it up as well. Dude I was thinking the Cl would be less of an amp then the ultralead I had way back when but hell no man this amp rocks man. I love how dry it is.

Glad you dig it and got another man! Technically you paid less than new if you think about it that way haha!

And just to remind you. Go back and look at the thread where you where talking about that hurricane and you thinking you lost all your shit. I was the first person on there offering to give you an amp to get back on your feet. You ignored me but at least that lets you know who your talking shit to. That who I am.

Relax, it was just a joke. I didn't know you'd go off in a fit of rage and insult me, as a player of more than 35 years, to boot.

So have you actually taken a real one apart? I wonder if you could figure out how to tune the low cut on it.

Or, call me crazy here...you could buy a TC Integrated Pre or Booster+ Line Driver and then tune the low cut wherever you wanted by turning the bass knob... :D

Yeah the tuning is really complex to match the 33... bass off and treble full

I've got my TC clone I built and an actual 33 here side by side and the 33 has a touch more volume when turned all the way up but that's it. May be because my clone is based on a pc board I grabbed online and not exact to the TC schematic IIRC.

But who knows, maybe he changes settings often on the integrated preamps.

Don't get me wrong, the 33 is an awesome pedal.. I think it's just better to have a pedal with the available EQ Bass/Treble to adjust for taste. One clone has one knob, the other has 3 knobs (like the integrated pre), and it's nice to have the option. I think I might build another 3 knob 33/Integrated-Pre in a smaller enclosure, the 125B I have one in is tooo big.

You talking about me? Did you even read my original post? If you can do math which I hope you can I ended up paying $325 for a pedal I really liked.

Don't sweat it man, his thing is shitting on threads/people that spend money on things they like. Grain of salt... He does provide useful input from time to time though. Kinda like hemorrhoids, always there but not always a pain in the ass...

No problem. I get heated sometimes so its all good. I'm sure we've all been there.

Shit I'm not really a pedal freak and know everything about everything and know how to build everything like some of you folks on hear. I am an impulse buyer from hell though and was sitting here at work bored as fuck as said I want my fucking pedal back. I literally laughed as I clicked buy now . Lol!

The CL50 is actually my favorite of the Pitbull line....and I’ve owned them all. Most several times

The green channel, in particular is

I've built two for about $40 each, I've been thinking about slapping a big "77" on it. It's just a TC Electronics Integrated Pre. Can't justify $500+ let alone just $233 on an easily built clone. But that's just my opinion, and you all know what they say about that.

Cool! Have you tried building a Grind?

I don't know much about the Grind, never had a chance to play one, let alone look at one. Is it an original circuit or a clone of something else? If it's a clone, I'd find and build the heck out of it. If it's an original circuit I guess we'll have to wait 14-15 years for some stuff to come out?

No idea, to be honest. I haven't tried one or seen one in person either.

Grind is a HPF @1khz, 3db/octave IIRC.

I have the Grind, it’s a good pedal. Can drive an amp front end pretty good, but honestly I like my OD’s a lot better. It’s good at what it’s designed for though. I think if you like the 33 then you’d like the Grind and visa versa.

So much cringe in this thread. Not particularly to the OP buying a 33 but the way the internet has hyped up something so special. A clone of a pedall selling for 5x what its worth lol. You guys are ridiculous.

Well he did omit the bass and treble pots and hard wired them in a set position, so it's only has 33% of the knobs of the original

I have a Booster/Line Driver for sale if anyone wants one. $275.00 Shipped.

If I took two knobs off an SD-1, how much do you think it would raise the value?

If you can get a video of Ola playing it, hundreds...
