Just bought my last wah - at least hope so

I've had one of those for some time and love it. It does have a lot of settings to mess with, so there's a lot of room to get terrible sounds too. Still, it's a wah. It ain't all that hard. That's also a great price for one.

I got a crazy deal on a Clyde deluxe and haven't found the need to look for anorher. I was using my Bad Horsie 2 for years before the Clyde. I thought clicking it on/off instead of auto would be a bother but it hasn't been at all.

Glad you found a killer wah for a good price - they are a lot of fun.

i bought a clyde deluxe like a decade ago and haven't even been tempted to buy another wah

it can do all of the vox/crybaby family wah sounds you can think of and it built like a brick shithouse

that thing is never coming off my board

I get the itch to try different wahs but can’t fault my Clyde deluxe either so never bother. It’s really just boredom. Plus I hardly ever use wah so it feels like why spend 100-150 bucks for something I may not like better and if I did, I would step on it once a month for funsies.
The search for a real, mid range throaty wah always intrigues me but there’s too many dam wahs and shootout videos tend to make them all sound not too different from each other anyway.

I decided to finally pull the trigger on the DCR-2SR couple of weeks ago and the last ones were sold out from Thomann at that point. Nowhere to be found and out of production. If You don’t like it, PM me… ☺️

Where are you located? I can might help. Is it gone out of production?

Wahs, lol

I bought one back in 2000, a Morley pro wah. 25 bucks on sale.

I take it out every 5 to 8 years and go yep, its a wah.

I have another 3 in digital form in my modeler, but don't use them either.

I could sell it, but its a better reminder to make better choices.

Same with the jbjrs in my parts draw. They're 28 this year! Only have maybe a week or 2 play time.

The Dunlop rack wah is a good one. The only real competitor I know of is the EMB rack wah, which are basically impossible to find.

For pedal wahs I like the Jam Wahcho and the Fulltone ones. I just don't like having to run 2 extra lines in the snake to be able to use them. So pretty much studio or backline rigs only. If I'm doing wireless, it's the Dunlop.

Found a DCR-2SR with pedal and cable for 270 USD here in denmark. Amazing. Gonna try it out tonight. Looks new. A lot of settings - im sure ill find something i like in there
I have heard good things although never used one myself. I have mostly used mxr wags like the wylde and kh versions. All sound great

I used a rack wah when I had an SLO-R, but I didn't run any other pedals out front. Otherwise, a rack wah is a tough sell.
