Helo there,

I've been reading your posts for a couple of months. After some research I thought the Einstein 100W would be exactly what I was looking for. Since I am from Brazil, I contacted Diezel directly. They answered me in less then 24 hours and I was really impressed. So after trying to answer them back with my second email, I sent a 3rd, 4th, etc until after a month I posted something on this board and Peter Diezel answered himself. So he asked me to send another email to Paul, etc, etc. Anyway, it's been months and once again, no answers to my emails.
So I just got a Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne, wich I really liked, but I still think the Einstein would be better.
Anyway, why I am writing this? Just because altough I tried, I couldn't buy a Diezel amp. There's no heart feelings, I am just starting to save some $$$, so in the future I will contact them once again and try to get it. By the way, I was planning to buy an amp blindly, just with the help and comments from you guys. God bless the internet!

The problem is that we have no distribution and
no support in Brazil.

Please, Mr Diezel, don't get me wrong, the only problem was that Diezel Amps only answered me once. And in that email, you made me believe that we cold get a deal. As I explained in many of those emails, I was even planning to visit the factory, wich you said I would be welcome. Looks to me that my emails just vanished in cyberspace, wich I know it happens from time to time. No problem, the Einstein is still on my wish list.
I got the habit to contact the factory directly since, here in Brazil we don't have dealers of many brands (like Mesa Boogie, Bogner, Dr. Z, Matchless, Two Rock, etc) but contacting directly the manufacturers, we always find a way out to get my hands on those amps.

Peter Diezel is responsible for research, development, technical support and production in Bad Steben.
Peter Stapfer is responsible for sales, cabinets and distribution in Dillingen.

I hate to say it, but your not the only top priority for Diezel and if you really wanted an Einstein
you would have found a way to get on instead of blaming Peter about a few e-mails. He gets
a hundred a day. Give the guy a break.

If you want an Einstein, contact Peter Stapfer. He will make the arrangements. If he can get a Diezel into
China he can get one to Brazil.

If I wanted something BAD ENOUGH.....I would find a way to get it.
Nothing is impossible if you go after it.
Especially buying an amp.
Someone....somewhere will sell you one and ship it to you.

Hi I live in Argentina, there is no Diezel support, but I managed to buy myself an Einstein and I must tell you it is absolutely awesome.

I bought it through the UK, and luckily I got my brother to bring it for me.

If in the future you want to buy a Diezel product, we might be able to send it to Brazil and I might go there to pick it up. Do you know what they charge to send it directly to Brazil (I absolutely can't send it to Buenos Aires, becuse it will be caught up in customs, or if I get lucky it will pass customs but will have to pay at least 50% of the price in import taxes.

Anyway I can tell, I bought this amp without ever playing or hearing a Diezel in person, I am not sorry, in fact I am sooooo happy.
I am now thinking how to get my hands on a 2x12 (wish I could a 4x12 but delivery or personal delivery from someone flying to Europe and back would be literally impossible. No airline lets you fly with that kind of luggage)

Long live Diezel!

Thanx guys, by the way, I did contacted Peter S. and I don't know why so much anger. I found out that this was the only way that Diezel Amps was answering my requests.
Yes, sure I could get an Diezel amp in US, as I got other brands before, but since both Peters (Diezel on the board and S. on the only email I got from them) were so nice, I thought I could visit the factory when I was in Europe in June. I could get the Einstein on a store in europe too, but I was trying to find out if the amp works both in 220V and 127V.
Nico, thanx for your input, and you must have the same problem that I have. We have to buy high end gear without testing it, so if it's not what we like we sell it and get another one. Right now I am pretty happy with my Mesa Transatlantic, Dr. Z Ghia and a Bogner Shiva 20th Anniversay. I got this Electra Dyne from Mesa wich I jost got and still testing it.
Unfortunalty, as I think it is in Argentina, it's cheaper to buy in US (or Germany), buya ticket and try to ge through customs, the taxes are sky high.
And for everyone that got angry with my message, I am sorry for that, really. It's wasn't my intention at all.

Ah, sorry man... But here's the quickest way to solving the problem.

Sell the Mesa.
Take the funds and a couple extra and speak to Peter Stapfer.
Order a Diezel with a deposit.
When ready, it'll ship for remaining balance.
You'll get it.
We're all happy.

V.
