So... how annoying is my signature? If the youtube clip bums people out let me know so I can take it down. I saw people doing it on here and I followed suit. Then I did it on my Gear Page Sig. oops. I caused a shit storm and got a hand slap:

One of the reasons Ive been gravitating over here on Rig Talk is that it seems to have a much higher population percentage of actual players. I always click on peoples links to see videos, whether its informational, amp/guitar tone examples or band songs. I love music and I think gear and bands intertwine. There is some GREAT music from Rig Talk members and I get stoked when I see it in a sig. Otherwise, how would I know about it??

Again, please let me know if I should take the youtube clip down from my sig and I will. Just dont be passive aggressive about like the legions of complaints I was getting (unbeknownst to me) on TGP.

Hi Kage, yes its my band. We did an animated trailer for our upcoming concept album. The hope is to gauge if there is enough interest to warrant animating each song/chapter. Its a big project!

Personally, I think that video is cool as hell and fits the music. Its not exactly on my radar of current tastes but its obviously good thoughtful stuff.

Thanks for the kind words, the stuff in my sig is at least 6 years old, Im long overdue to record !!! BTW, alot of those tunes were recorded with a 30 dollar Johnson J Station!!!

I tired of the whole TGP schtick a while back too. The cork-sniffery that goes on there gets to me. If it's not a Dumble or some old single-channel, class A Fender circuit then it's NOTHING. Which is crap. And then you've got professional "home noodlers" acting like their vast wells of experience and knowledge trump guys who been gigging for decades. It's all just too much for me.

lol people get WAY too upset WAY too easily these days. god forbid you tell someone (politely and constructively) that something they wrote or presented is a little lackluster and you're subjected to childish bullshit in response; not to mention the tired old, 'let's see you do better' or, 'if you can't do it, you have no right to criticize' comebacks. everybody's gotta speak their mind like a toughguy on the internet (probably because they're insecure, introverted, and/or socially inept in real life).

I just think the sig. is cool as it can be!
It's the artist presenting his art. And I think that that's exactly what bothers some people. More specifically the ones who can't create music.
Is it my favorite style of rock? Nope. Have I heard better recorded music? Yep. However, I think it sounds better than(easily) 95% or more than anything on youtube or any social network.
It's your own music, not a cover song, and not a gear demo.
Can only speak for myself, but I'm always welcoming musicians that are making music! And in this case, who's making music is you. So, I'd never have a problem with your sig.

I knew you’re just kidding but I’m curious if you showed your son my post regarding his future? I'll tell ya what, if it weren't for some people questioning everything we'd still be stuck in the dark ages. If he lived up here I'd give him all my text books after I'm finished. But really, whatever he is into support him 110%. My father tried to put limits on me, wanted me to join the army like most of my family. All that did was turn me against anything that resembled authority. Even today I hate going with the flow and stand up against any law or policy that just ain't right. And there is so many things not right about the western world these days, I should be busy for a lifetime or two.

I am not a fan of the youtube in the sig, but it doesn't both me enough to complain, I just skip over it generally. There are many other things that concern me much more, its not really on my radar. That said, I would prefer a link. But I say keep it, its not really hurting anyone and you are displaying your music.

I don't understand what the problem is. If people aren't interested, they don't have to click. As far as I can tell, most modern mice are conveniently equipped with a scroll wheel, and this allows them to move past content. If on Mac laptop, two finger accomplish the same thing.

People need to douche once and awhile. It really does wonders for the mood.

Hey, it's your music, it's professionally done - I'd already PM'd you about it, spewing how I thought your talent was off the hook - so obviously I have ZERO problem with it, and the only people I'd imagine having issues with it are those who can't wrap their heads around the coolness and talent factors required to create something like that.
