It's rare that I read anyone critiquing the playing of arguably the most accomplished virtuoso electric guitar player of all time.

Yngwie. Yeh, lot's of people critique him all the time.

People criticising this album need to have their ears tested. It's one of the best in decades. And it's not all about Guthrie's playing, it's about the album as a whole. It's true that Steven Wilson told him to slow down to better suit the prog sound he was going for.

I strongly urge all of you to listen to "Home Invasion" then "Regret No. 9" and tell me you don't like this album.
