Just saw Guthrie at The Berklee Performance Center
in Boston Mass. Guthrie is a MONSTER that can do
it all (Jazz, Blues, Shred, Country Chicken Pickin'
Reggae) sky's the limit.
His band was The Jon Finn Group who is a Guitar
Professor at Berklee. They played a mix of Erotic Cakes
a few Jon Finn songs and an Al Dimeola tune.
Lot's of spontanious jamming, that was Fantastic.

Guthrie's guitar was his sig. Suhr that was plugged
into a Custom Audio Head (couldn't see the model)
running into a Mesa 4X12. The Mesa had some duct
tape over the embelm on the front.
I was wondering if something happenend to the
CAA cabinet.....It didn't matter though.
Tones of Sparkling clean headroom, with a cutting
Lead tone, it was a great night of Guitar Wizardry!

Would've love to been there myself, GG rocks!

One thing though...Guthrie has got 3 signatures now: bolt-on Suhr, set-neck Suhr, and his new Rasmus signature that I've heard he's been playing with live at different times. Did he switch between all them?

Nah Man, He played one guitar all night.
This was the exact one, a Set Neck Suhr
and it sounded Incredible.

Nice! I'd really like to have that model. I've seen a dealer on eBay let a new one go for as little as $3K with "best offer." Not a bad deal to me, for a rarer set-neck Suhr Modern. Especially with all the options that the GG comes with. Would love to have one!
