Just When You Thought PRS 10 Tops Were Getting Meh

Got this a couple weeks ago, lots of the "10" tops I've seen don't wow me like they used to. But this one does

Sick. Look on the tag and see who set it up; if it was Eric G dude is a good friend of mine. He's constantly texting me pics of sick PRSi, some of which go right to the stars and no one ever sees them except PRS and the owners.

That thing is badass, man. Probably one of the best tops I've ever seen that Eric didn't send me.

That is one of the best 10 tops I have seen lately. Usually you have to go to Wood Library or Private Stock to get one like that.

Agreed... it is a sick top and unusual that it is listed as a 10 top. I'll never understand having to pay PRS 10k for a premium top.

You can get into some sick wood with the EBMM BFR packages in the 2500-3500 range. Check out my 2014 Neptune blue Axis

They are of course different guitars altogether, but to up charge ~6k over a "10 top" to Private stock is ridiculous. I do really like some of their finishes, however.

They do have different grades of premium wood, 10Top, Artist, Wood Library then Private Stock. New, all including some PS can be had for way less than $10K and used.......

On a serious note, I rarely see prs owners with just one prs, they almost always have more than one and love them to death.....

You just have to find the right one's. I think right now they're making their best stuff. I really like the DGT, SC58 or SC245...whatever they call it now, and the 408. I was never crazy about Custom 24's. I liked the NF3 but it's been discontinued because I don't think it sold well.
