Just when you thought you’ve seen it all

I hate monster cables. Biggest POS cables I've ever owned.
My whole rack rig was/is Monster Cable. I bought all that new bulk cable to make my own right before I had to pack up and move, so I haven't got to build any of them yet. I will, one day, have much higher quality cable in my rig and pack the Monsters away for a rainy day.

Can you please update me on crystal lettuce meme? I been missing out 😂
Alexander Dumble used crystal lattuce in his amps to make them sound better, it was like when the Starship Enterprise encountered the Crystaline Entity.

Damn that’s funny. I only read the opening OP thread and it sounds like the seller dude was fucking with him and he is gullible. The kind of dude we’d take snipe hunting at midnight.

My friend and I tinkered with this idea 35 years ago. We tested all kinds of cables etc. We also went so far as testing wire from a spool and using the wire from the spool in the direction of the signal flow when wiring up guitars. We would then purposefully use the wire in different directions to see if we could hear any differences. We did this with different solder types along with different soldering temperatures to see if there was any sonic differences. We also tried to use globs of solder vs the tiniest amount.

The only thing where any of the above makes a difference is when you need to maintain every variable... like in rocket science. So guitars there really isnt any difference unless there is a design where something is directional.... like one guitar cable side grounds to eliminate noise when unplugged.... so it would make sense to have that at the guitar side.

I just looked at a four page thread of some dude who can't decide what guitar to take to a blues jam. If you can't figure that out on your own please don't go to a blues jam smh
Better that than realizing your jam is expired and then getting the blues for dry toast.

At least most of the posts are making fun of the whole thing. They’re not a total lost cause over there.

Speaker cables benefit from keeping the direction consistent. Learned that from Bob Gjika.

Holy shit....there’s some straight up fuckery going on there, 25 pages deep
