Here's the rig that we built for Justin, he now also has an identical B rig that we did. He uses 2 Friedman BE100's for his current tour with Pink. He also has 2 Bogner Shivas. So a Bogner Shiva and a Friedman BE100 in each rig.
Justin is a crazy good player and a sweetheart of a guy.

This was the first interview I ever did and it was totally ad-lib off the cuff, so be kind lol.

Awesome vids, Mark! Justin is a great player and that rig looks amazing. The Shiva he's using seems much gainier than I remember. Would love to hear more rigs with the BE100!!! Thanks for doing these vids!!!

Justin is a powerhouse. Cool to see the Friedman's in his rack. That's a hell of an endorsement.

Great job !!! Mark one of your greatest assets is that you're genuine. Being one of the best players on the planet doesn't hurt either ...

Sweet, marked for later. Justin is one of those dudes who makes me realize I need to keep practicing. Guy is technically gifted! And he has fun while doing it and is fun to watch/listen to.

You are way too kind Dan!

Roger that! Thanks Mark. I've been enjoying your videos, especially the Fractal ones (it's good for me to watch videos of people playing the same or similar rigs to me... I spend less money that way!) And Justin's been a recent find for me as well. His Shiva OD tone is just plain killer. Thanks for allowing us to come along on your wild adventures, Mark.

Watched this a couple of nights ago and I gotta say, the relaxed environment was really cool.

My favorite aspect was Justin's dual volume pedals enabling different functions. Really cool how he can taper the delay time and output simultaneously.

Also having time based effects isolated when amp switching as to eliminate trails is wicked cool.

Do you and Justin get to jam, Mark? Lol

Damn those vid pissed me off. How can a player so young be SO good at so many styles and have killer tone to boot. Oh yeah, great demo and interview...great setup.

Great job mark...i would love to see this with every rig build you guys do...just awesome

Saw this a couple of nights ago. Interesting that he seems to use the Ego Comp as a lead boost, not something you see that often. I figured he'd be boosting the Shiva but not with an Ego Comp. He did the same on the LP Traditional demo he did a while back.

Good job on the vids

Just...awesome  You can't beat a real player interviewing a real player

Mark, great interview. As Greg said, a player interviewing a player is great. Much better than those interviews where someone asks "What does the blue box do?" haha.

Justin is definitely one of my Top 5 favorite guitarists right now. Just a perfect combination of "shreddy" technique, off the cuff rock and roll, and a little hint of twang thrown in here and there.

Doesn't hurt that he plays a Shiva, and I'm a total Bogner fanboy too.

Great interview of an awesome player. I like that Derrico has a his own unique style.
