Karnivore vs V30

You can tell all the clips were dialed in for the Karnivore, and then they just switch over. When dialing in to a V30 you're gonna want less mids and probably less presence, but ya my ears tend to prefer the V30's as well. Lot of V30 hate these days.
I can see that being thing, but I can say that I 100% did not do this. I kept my amp settings where they've been for the past couple of years. They don't change much, maybe a little more or less mids if I'm at practice and can't hear something quite right that day, but that's usually more something that happens in that moment, and they usually get changed back to my usual spot when I get home. I didn't do any dialing after installing the speakers.

Like I said, hyped flavor of the month. just like, HESU - Veteran 30 - DV77 etc. makes sense that Eminence is pushing something new, now that the Orange bass cabs come stock with chinese celestions and not the classic drivers.

I think it's a bit bigger than that. The anticipation and sustained hype has been more than what those other speaker's experienced. Both Engl and Driftwood are now offering 412s loaded with Karnivore's as well.

I think it's an instant classic for anyone playing any genre with gain. I think it'll be around awhile.
