Karnivore vs V30

Yeah, less nasal and fizzy than the V30, and fatter on the low end.

Reminds me of the sound I get because I normally run 2 cabs, one with Celestions, and one with Eminence. These kind of sound like that mix on their own.

I like Redbacks quite a bit, and will likely keep one cab with the V30/RB combo just for that variety, but my other 2 cabs are moving over to Karnivores.

Can you do a redback and karnivore comparison?

I keep that cab at my practice space but I can do that the next time I bring it home.

The Karnivore sounds like it has the lows from my G12T75s, the mids from my Texas Heats and the highs from my CL80s.

I've been thinking about this with the Karnivores. As I expand my music area and get room for more cabs I want to build a couple of my own variations of the Friedman Butterslax cab (212/15). I'm thinking Karnivores mixed with Legend 1518's would sound bad ass.
