To those who have tried out/owned both the KPA and the HD500 running through a DT25/DT50 (aka "the dream rig")' which of the two feels more like an amp?

From everything I've read, it seems like the modeling on the KPA is superior to that of the HD500, but I'm curious to know if adding the tube-powered DT Series gives you back the "feel" of an amp that simply isn't there with most modelers (except maybe the KPA...opinions differ on this).

I'm looking for something to use in the home that can sound good at bedroom volumes. I've been thinking about going the Suhr Badger route with its Power Scaling feature, but now I'm considering a modeling solution as well.

Let me know what you think :)

Bump.....no one on Rig-Talk has an opinon on this....really??

Kemper is great. Not only that it has more amps available then te pod does. Since u are looking or a low volume bedroom solution I would suggest Kemper and studio monitors. An amp can carry pretty far sound wise and I playi g at low volumes u may not be able to take advantage of where it soy f best volume wise.

That being said I really like the dt amps as well and how u would monitor the kemper would make the difference.
