Kiesel Edition Vader (Carvin)

I thought instead of me picking most of the specs, it would make way more sense for Jeff to pick them because he is the master luthier with literally generations of experience. I just showed him some of my favorite tons and some of my least favorites, so he picked specs on that.

Some specs like the scale length, and fret size I locked in because those are more of a personal thing.

A few of my close friends that I have trusted over the years when it comes to taste in gear said that the Kiesel Edition guitars were easily on par with their pricier gear --- so I am really reallllllly excited for this build.

Here is a picture of the fretboard that was sent over today:

Your guess is as good as mine. I think some kind of maple? It has the treated fretboard which you can now order on the regular kiesel/carvin stuff. You just call them and ask, it's an option 50.

Looks like it could be baked maple (which is really cool), or purple heart perhaps? Looks great!

The neck wood has two purple heart stripes. I should probably just ask Jeff haha. I don't want to bug him too much though because between running a massive company and building I'm sure he has his hands full.

Fretboard looks to be birds-eye maple that was dyed/stained red. You can still see the regular maple color in the fret slots.

I have birdseye maple on my Carvin DC727 looks so awesome, who woulda thought to stain it, genius! Stop bumping this thread otherwise Im gonna have to build a V7 from scratch.

Since Jeff Kiesel is picking the specs, I'd say it's probably the most expensive one Carvin offers.
