Hey guys,
I'm a 412 guy and even for a lightweight cab, I prefer a 412 with two speakers, hence a detuned 412. Sounds as huge as a 412 with four speakers and not much larger than a 212.
Anyway, I still have one 212,my Bogner oversized 212. Man I have tried every speaker combo on thr planet in this thing. Most of my 412s are UK V30/Redback.
I've enjoyed it with so many combinations from Vintage 30s to Classic Lead 80s to Redbacks. I've used Danes and Eminence before but my ears are just used to Celestion and to keep my life simpler, I stick with Celestion.
I can't begin to tell how gray this Bogner 212 sounds with the Red and K100. Really helps it sound huge and so balanced. Very smooth. Very fat.
