Killer Kali++ Mod by Dan Gower Metro JMP Video

Another mindless wanking video showing the Killer Kali++ I just got back from Dan a month or so ago. This is with the 4th gain stage added (violence mode), no boost straight in and TC Flashback in parallel loop. Don't mind the missed notes and shitty playing, recorded with Iphone 4s on the fly. This amps kicks major ass and has lots of great options and footswitchable functions.

 
That's the kind of sound I like. Nice! :) What speakers are you running in the cab?
 
Yep..that sounds very familiar :rock: Great tones... and I believe brett is running V30s with his Gower Kali.. Same as me. Fortin/Gower circuits and mods really like the V30's :thumbsup:
 
Interesting. I've never heard V30s sound good with hot-rodded Marshalls. Doesn't sound harsh at all in the video clip, though.

What's the info on your Metro JMP? Did you build it? Buy it already built? Metro build it? I have a Metro JMP I built. I briefly thought about sending it to Dan. And I'm in Michigan, too. Maybe we should get a mini ampfest together. :D

Just to let people that don't know Dan's Killer Kali++ uses no diode clipping, the gain channel uses three gain stages and instead of diode clipping the Violence mode (added 4th gain stage) is foot switchable into the circuit. The amp has clean channel, gain channel with foot switchable dual masters, and foot switchable Violence mode (4th stage). Also has series and parallel loop

Hey Bill, yeah the amp kills! Got the Stealth about a month ago from Brad when he had the limited 7 black stealth's with block inlays. I didn't really need it but I had been looking for a used one and couldn't find one so pulled the trigger. :rock:

I've never played or heard a cali
that didn't kick ass on so many levels...the most killer tight chunk goodness with mids that are juicy,fat and tight all in one. And it can do so much more and still remain fat and focused.
