Good, really good. GREAT ! I think I like the tone without the boost, but then again to my ears there's really not that much difference in the YT sound quality .

Gotta ask, does the boost change the playing dynamics?

There's not really a lot of difference in sound with the TS9 engaged, but there is some. You can tell when it's engaged. It's the typical nasally tube screamer sound. I don't use it for gain, the KK++ has AMPLE amounts of gain, it's more for the feel. I'm not satisfied with the TS9 though. It's not transparent enough for my tastes anymore. I'm on the lookout for something more transparent to goose the front. Maybe a Timmy or Pigtronix Class A boost, I don't know. I only use a boost here and there anyway, and it's more for the feel than the sound, if that makes sense.

It does change the dynamics. It's obviously more dynamic without the boost. I do like it for some things when I want a harder tinged sound though.

My playing gets rushed and kinda frantic. I keep hearing this voice in my head like, "They're all gonna laugh at you! They're all gonna laugh at you!" Lol!!

I call it "red LED" syndrome. It helps to record yourself often, even if you have no intentions of using the footage anywhere. When I was younger I used to tape myself playing, only rarely listening to the result... In fact, I used the same tape over and over.

Your playing isn't bad at all, and I'm sure even if it were, most of us would nevertheless be happy to hear these amps demo'ed.

I live in the county. No noise ordinance. That's both good and bad. My neighbors across the street like to shoot handguns into the woods behind their house.

The Koko boost works great in the 3rd gain stage mode!!
