killers solos that flew under the radar

know of any notable tracks that should have received more recognition?

this album sorta got lost in the nirvana shuffle, and by this time don dokken was like the most hated pouty lipped drop chin look through your bangs hair metal 80s poster child, but almost every song on this one has BLAZING on it

two ripping guitarist that just throw down on every song as if to say "take that!"

if only the singing had more gonads to it...it's like racer x with air supply vocals

I don't think anything Dimebag did flew under the radar. He was pimping more gear than Zakk and FLoods was even transcribed in a guitar magazine I believe.

I think guy in XYZ didn't get much credit because Grunge killed that style by the time their record came out.

The T-Ride album had some hints of greatness on guitar that nobobdy seemed to notice.

And the guy in Spread Eagle was pretty damm good.

not feeling this one--his guitar isn't tuned and the production of the gtr tone is cheap in a bad way.
but i've seen and heard a LOT worse from that era.

great call on the Toxik song. I wore the "think this" CD out in the late '80's. Always thought they had huge potential. In the end, the vocals probably held them back. Great solo here. Shades of Skolnik.

That is a pretty interesting solo, Haven't listened to any Testament in a while. Time to break out my favorite one: Practice What You Preach. You can't go wrong with pretty much any Alex Skolnick solo.
