What about this underrated (IMO) group...from Tejas IIRC.... (ugh...my mistake..not from Texas). Mizzou.

Always loved their music. the harmonies were so rich and tight.

Absolutely. Ty is such a smooth player with great vibrato. Saw them play Gretchen from beginning to end in a club in Mpls back in 89, and caught a Dogman tour show in 93. 3 pc with killer 3 part harmonies? Not many out there with that talent.

Only had the pleasure of seeing them once on the Dogman tour and they just brought the roof down. A band that deserves much higher success than they got.

My favorite bar none!

Wonder if they are still rocking the mods you made for 'em....

Saw them several times on tour with the modular rig in Ty's rack.

Love this band...have done since Out of the Silent Planet

respect for sure.

Fucking love Tabor's tone and playing.
Yeah I am much more a fan of Ty's tone and playing than King's X if that makes sense. Lots of talent there though.

I'm also more into his tone and playing than the band as a whole. They do have a few songs I really like tho. Like this one:

Ty only uses my stuff in his studio.

My band had the privilege of opening for them last year. Amazing show; just stupidly tight.

Word! Jelly Jam, and Tabor's sig albums; PGP with Pinnick - these guys are the shit!

Ty is a criminally underrated guitarist. Love Kings X, saw them several times live.

Love King's X! Have seen them a couple of times, on the King's X and Dogman tours. Killer shows. I didn't realize they started out in Springfield MO.

Been a fan ever since the beginning. "Summerland" was the one that really sucked me in though. Just putting it on for a listen right now...

YEA MAN! That is a good one. Love the last few minutes..no vocals...just tight, tight timing, a pretty killer tone.

Love Kings X! From Dogman, Earcandy and Tapehead are my favorites. Dogman man is the epitome of Dual Rectifier dropped tone.
