This YT channel must have recorded alot of bands in 1991 at the same Cincinnati venue, great videos with great audio. Three years before Dogman was released! Doug's singing always reminds me of Jimi Hendrix................................

Jimi Hendrix crossed with a phenomenal gospel singer. Way better than Hendrix. Doug's vocals on Summerland after the solo are some my favorite vocals ever recorded.

I remember as a young kid it was around this time that I was exposed to Kings X and the song "Black Flag" was always on MTV.

just killer stuff. What a great band! and all that sound from a Gibson Lab series solid state!!!

Pretty sure I was at this one. Saw them on the Dogman tour as well. Criminally underrated band

Thanks for posting this. Crazy good stuff, my favorite band ever. I was lucky enough to be at the Empire show in Cleveland that later turned out to be released as "Tales from the Empire."

King's X is so refreshing in the music landscape.

Music in the true sense of the word, not just mindless chugging and noodling.

God bless them.

Caught them in early 1994 when they opened for Pearl Jam on the Vs tour. Great show at Middle Tennessee State University. Steve Cropper showed up and played Dock of the Bay with Pearl Jam too.
