Kix was a good band?

Kix was an AWESOME band IMO... Its a little known fact that Poison ripped them off bigtime in the beginning and became huge while Kix only got mediocre recognition. They were pretty big in the DC area and their live shows kicked all kinds of ass.

nobody ripped them off. they signed a suck ass deal. get your facts straight. this is the shit that makes for bad everything. the internet has killed rock n roll more then mtv or vh1. things may seem good to you young guys but things are going downhill fast. look at it this way, you have all you guys on here constantly from home/work etc.youre not doing shit but being complacent and there will never be another hendrix/page/ evh. guthrie? gthf outta here

My facts are straight, Its yours that need checkin I should have been more clear and say that it wasnt the music that Poison bagged , it was the image. Im not blaming their lack of success on what I said and Im not denying that they signed a bad deal. You can check their website for more on it but I got my info from a LONG time buddy of mine who knew them since day one and opened alot of shows for them back in the hammerjacks days... He turned me on to them in 78 and Ive been a fan ever since... So no need to go off on a useless tirade that really doesnt have any relevance to what we're talking about..

1st off, Loudness made a new thread and an opinoin based statement from himself. He simply wanted to back up and give some credit. Gainfreak can along after several praise and endorsement type posts and made a fairly accurate accessment of the what mostly happened with those guys, not an UNDER OATH TYPE OF STATEMENT just mainstream kind of thing. Decent and fair. A guy or two even made their opinions known and THEY DID NOT CARE FOR KIX. Okay I get that. BUT now HOW THE HELL DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO FK'N DEROGATORY???????? All rolled into a PERSONAL ATTACK OF OUR LIFE AND WORK HABITS. Regardless of AGES, GENERATIONS, or even WHO EATS KIX CEREAL??? Hey that one post although left field WAS COOL ! back to point ........ I really really don't like them. They make me cringe whenever I hear them. They're from the Baltimore area and I sometimes think it's illegal to NOT like them if you live here. I think I'm the only local who doesn't like them. I'm very glad I didn't live here in the late 80s when they became popular.
