He added the Bogner fish with vht power amp to fill out the compression underneath . Kinda cool . Never knew he did that

Obviously RIB had their best tone....with Show no Mercy a close second.
Too mellow sounding after that imo.

I have always wondered exactly when they switched to EMGs. Was it on RIB, or SOH? I always thought that had an effect on their tone, since the boosted JCM800s were pretty much their staple.

Jeff started before Kerry did. In the Black magic/Raining blood video Kerry still had the megadrive pickup. But there's some pics from the World Sacrifice era where they both had Emg's and passive at times
