I don't "get" the Klon thing, but I respect the intangibles that people find in these pedals.
That being said, if I ever spend $1000+ on a pedal, I'm giving any (and all) of you permission to drive a railroad spike through my head and put my out of my misery.

I owned one when they first came out in the mid-90's...it's hands down the most overhyped pedal in history. It sounds good, but no better than dozens of other options. The "nothing else sounds like it" shtick comes from hack players who regurgitate what they read rather than anybody with any cred as a player (or from anybody trying to sell one 
).
