I couldn't get any repair shops, or Korg themselves, to answer this question for me that I had contacted, so a friend turned me onto this board. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have an old Korg Toneworks AX1000G and I'm trying to figure out if there is any possible way to carry over my saved sounds to a replacement in better condition. The short of it is that the pedal is beat up and not functioning properly anymore due to an idiotic friend, but I have years worth of guitar sounds stored on there that I'm incredibly fond of and wouldn't know how to replicate, therefore don't want to lose. Trying to get info on how these settings are stored on these types of boards, a ROM chip of some sort that could be swapped onto a replacement AX1000G?
