Kotzen gear on Hot Streak?

I think I've only heard Hot Streak twice all the way through so far. I hope it will grow on me too. Loved the first CD. I'm totally fine with Ritchie's fingers and tone. I've been focusing on the new Queensryche. I really like 4 or 5 songs but I'm hoping the rest will sink in. Again, loved the last one with Todd!

I don't get the anti fingers brigade here. He has a shit ton of attack live and on the disc, while playing with his fingers. Here is a video I recorded of him live. He has delay going and his attack is as good or better than most pick players. He sounds every bit as good as Beck, who was his influence to lose the pick. Neither one one have suffered attack wise. Kotzen pulls off some insanely intense runs on both WD albums and his Cannibals solo disc sans pick. You guys are fucking nuts.

I actually think the new album is better than the first one, dig his tone on it too

Hot Streak is a damn good disc!!! I still prefer the debut one!! This is more of a Richie solo album than the previous release, but I dig all of Richie's work so it is all good to me. Going to see them in St. Charles, IL. tomorrow!!

He's actually using a pick for several things on both the Winery Dogs records. He's said in interviews that it just depends on what he's going for. I'm pretty sure he's using one on the outro solo on Empire, and there are other places that sounds like it as well.

Fantastic clip but it's like somebody spliced captain Jack and Hit girl in the wardrobe dept...
Cmon Richie, jeans and a t shirt man :)
Liking the new WD the more I listen too btw....

Is Richie getting dressed in the dark these days? He needs to have his daughter dress him. Anyway, I like the new album and the tone is okay. Maybe a little more treble would be nice. The strong musicianship and melodies make up for it though.
