This is me around 1991, playing one of the first Holy Grails. My guitar teacher bought it when the three exec from Kramer came to the store where he was teaching, after hours, to pitch the new model. He begged them and they took a check for $500 for it. He let me borrow it from time to time and tried to sell it when he needed money for a DUI. I think he wanted $600, but I was just about to go live in Germany for a year and needed the money myself. While I was away, it was stolen in a home burglary.

Hard to say, as that color does not look original.

I got this one for $950 shipped two years ago, but it needed some work and a refret when it arrived, which I split with the seller, so I have around $1100 into it. This guitar is so kickass, will never sell it.

Well to be honest the color looks amazing haha mine doesn't need anything, it is ready to go. Anyway I'll just list it for 1000 euros and I'll be open to offers.

I'm not complaining about your color. It's just that it could easily be mistaken for one of the newer Kramers, I mean at first glance. I think these go for a lot more in Europe, so you should have no problem getting your price within the EU. There have been a few white ones in Germany and Japan on eBay for $1800-$3000, but they have sat there forever.

Yes I see what u mean! Ithx for ur help!

I had an early '82's model best I remember and going through the Kramer timeline. Mine was so early the input jack was on top of the guitar right behind the tone knob. And had the standard stock tremolo. Again best I can figure it came right out after they switched to the beak headstock.

I wanted the Carrera badly with the Rockinger trem but had to take this instead.

Few months later had a guitar tech move the input jack to the side and put in a dummy pot with knob. Few months after that I bought a Floyd Rose and installed it myself. I knew nothing about proper distance from nut to 12th to bridge and actually routed out the locking nut with a file and the trem route with a drill lol. It worked, looked good and believe it or not I was only a smidge off on the intonation, which I later had fixed. Had a stock Schaller pickup in it that sounded great.

Loved that guitar. Ended up buying two more Pacers, one with the explored style stock which to this day, still has one of the best feeling necks I've ever played. And then finally the super pointy Pacer with the bigger body...which was pretty much junk.

Those first two were gems and has gone the way much of my stuff from the past. Sold the first and traded the second two for my first ESP.

Cool story bro! To be honest the only reason I'm considering selling my beauty is that I can't stand fr tremolo guitars... I don't use it and it's a pain in the ass when it comes to strings changing, well at least for me haha. I have set my eyes on a charvel pro mod ht

I get it, FR's can be a pain. For years I couldn't live without one, now I've only got one guitar with one lol. I got pretty good at quick string changes on those things though.

If you have a FR guitar and will never use the FR, just put five springs on it and tighten the claw screws all the way. It will play like a hard tail then. Still a pain to change strings, but vintage Kramers are cool guitars and you should keep the old FR with it.

Thx for the advice! I had the tremolo blocked like this by my guitar technician. The neck is really to die for and it really sings! I really like the colour and the single pickup too! I hope I wont regret it in case it's sold...
