What where the other two? I had a Gemini I sold off in a fit GAS and would like to buy another KSR amp someday, just not sure if I want to try another Gemini or try something different.
I had a Gemini then I had the rack mount one I can’t remember the name of... the Artemis ii? Artemis iii? I can’t remember lmao

Just curious why you would need an fx loop with a power amp with no preamp ? What would the application be ?

Well, now that I think about it, I guess I would run all my usually pedals before the Ceres, and place my "FX loop" time based pedals after the Ceres and then go into the PA50.

I think the problem is my current pedal board is setup with two paths: one is is my "in front" path, and then I have delay, verb, solo boost, and a Luxe going into my amps FX loops.

I kinda don't want to mess with my pedalboard, so I can use it with my regular heads.

Any ideas how best to do this? Would I have to get some type of splitter? ....I currently have a Friedman pedalboard and use the Power Grid and the Buffer Bay. I use one Bay input to go to the amps guitar input for my "in front" pedals that go before the preamp of the amp and then I have an input each for Send and Return and that goes from the Bay to the send and return of the FX loop.

I'm a noob with this stuff.

Nice, man. Are you ok not having an FX loop on the PA50?
Ok my rig is the tuner-digitech drop- Deadweald duality dx- ceres - carbon copy - PA50. Since an effects loop is just an input before your power amp(over simplification) it works just like having an effects loop.

The Duality DX is doing my noise gating before and after the Ceres.

One of my favorite things about KSR is the Ares crunch. It's my favorite crunch tone out of any amps I have had. Thankfully I can get it with the Ceres. It does great classic rock type tones and if you hit it with a boost you have a nice thrash tone. To me it sounds sort of like a boosted plexi but maybe with a smidge more dirt.

If I could get away with buying another amp I would love to get a Juno or maybe the Ares with a clean mod but I'm digging the Ceres PA50 so much right now I havent really even considered anything amp related. Hopefully that last for awhile.

The NFB control is what makes the PA50. Being able to tweak that opens up a lot of tonal possibilities

The thing I like about the Ceres/PA50 vs the Orthos I had was the Ceres can get a bit more saturated relatively easy. I wanted to order an Ares but got the Orthos cause I wanted a clean but then I never use clean channels. It was my favorite amp until I got a Mark IV but in hindsight I think I prefer the Orthos over a mark iv. Just hard to get a bad tone out of it.
